Please be aware that due to the stipulations of our permit with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (WDNR), fishes purchased from BTDarters are to be used for indoor aquarium use only. If you want to use BTDarters' fishes for outdoor aquarium or pond use, we would have to get special permission from the WDNR and the fish would have to be tested for VHS. Please note that this test costs in the hundreds of dollars per species range. But, pending WDNR approval on a case-by-case basis, we do offer this as available. We're also happy to announce that we're trying customer shipping via the United States Postal Service (USPS), again, by popular customer demand! Through this service, we can offer you our same, high-quality fish at a significantly reduced shipping price. In addition to our other shipping services, we're now offering shipping via USPS Express (Next-Day service), Priority Mail (2-3 day service), or Priority Flat-Rate (2-3 day service). As was always the case with our services before, your fish are packed with the best of care and sent in an insulated, sturdy container. We're also now using Breather Bags (by Kordon ) to reduce the size of our packages. So you'll save money not only with the method of shipping, you'll save money because we can ship to you in a smaller container! Now how can you beat that??? 	Live food: The little brine shrimp icon indicates that the fish will accept live foods. Some examples of live foods that may be used are: live blackworms, live brine shrimp, live whiteworms, and/or live mosquito larvae.
	Flake food: The little flake food icon indicates that the fish will accept flake food.
	Frozen food: The little ice cubes icon indicates that the fish will accept frozen food like frozen bloodworms or frozen brine shrimp.
	Water hardness: The blue diamond icon followed by black letters indicates the water hardness preffered by the fish. "S" = Soft Water, "M" = Medium hardness, and "H" = hard water. The icon to the left would indicate that the associated fish would prefer medium to hard water.
	Temperature: The thermometer icon with black letters above indicates the preferred water temperature of the fish in degrees Fahrenheit. The icon to the left would indicate a preferred temperature range of 72 to 76 degrees Fahrenheit.
	PPT: Parasite Pre-Treated: The little sheild with the letters "PPT" indicate that the fish have been pre-treated for both internal and external parasites. BTDarters uses Parasite Clear� by Jungle� Laboratories to pre-treat our fish.

	Fish are shipped to the 50 United States with some exceptions. Live arrival is guaranteed to any state in the contiguous United States. Otherwise, Live Arrival Guarantee may vary, depending on shipping location. 	Shipping cost outside of the contiguous United States is variable. Please email us your full address and estimated number of fish and we will find out how much it would cost to ship to you. Shipping cost within the contiguous US but outside of Metro Milwaukee is usually $40.00 to $90.00 USD per box. For a precise estimate, email or call us with your name and complete address. Our carrier is DHL/Airborne Express. A box contains about 12 fish. Any unused portion of the shipping cost is refunded to the buyer at the time of shipment. Unless special circumstances apply, if the shipping cost exceeds the amount we quoted you, you do not pay the extra shipping cost! BTDarters picks it up for free! Collector's Choice� is a deal where you purchase a box of fish for a flat fee ($40.00 USD). The fish you get in the box is determined by the collector. It is essentially a grab-bag. You can request what kind of fish you want, but because the fish shipped depends on what was collected, we cannot guarantee that you will get the fish you requested. There are approximately 12 fish to a box. The value of the fish in the box is guaranteed to exceed the purchase price.
